Day 365 – Done!: It’s over! I’ve finally got through one year documenting every day with a photo. It’s been fun and I’ve ended up recording an important year of my life; first proper job, moved out of home, set a date to get married, shot my first festival and my first winter wedding. On top of that I’ve shot some GREAT bands – juts off the top of my head my faves were Biffy Clyro, Paramore, Lamb of God, Job For a Cowboy, ZZ Top, Papa Roach, Steel Panther…it goes on! Thanks for following me, and why not give it a go yourself?

Day 150 – Top Banana: Another example of why my job is great. How many other people can say they spent work time photographing someone holding a giant banana? This was for a pic to promote a fairtrade event happening in Solihull later this month.

Day 108 – Back to the Grind: Today it was back to work, which wasn’t great.  Also, thanks to the clear day it was chuffing cold although the sunset was very nice.  I only managed to grab the end of it with my compact as I waited for the train home, but still some good colours to behold.

Day 55 – Social Solihull: Today was the first Solihull Social Media Cafe, and I went along to represent Solihull MBC.  Soon I’m going to be taking control of the council’s twitter page and other social media, so it was great to spend a couple of hours bouncing ideas around and seeing what people want.  We had 15 turn up in total and hopefully next month’s will be evn better!

Day 47 – The Colourful Season: There’s something about the colours of Autumn that are just great – very simple, very bold and perfect to photograph.  I snapped this on the way back from a photo shoot for my new job, which is still going very well.

Day 46 – You Spin Me Right Round: Well, day two of my job has been great, but I’ve met with so many people and talked to them all about what their role is in our office and where it relates to me, as well as getting to grips with the email system and other policies that today’s picture is a visual representation of what the inside of my head was like by the end of the working day.  Busy, slightly overpowering, but good and something I’m really looking forward getting stuck into properly.

Day 44 – Last Day of Freedom:  Tomorrow I start work, so what better way of enjoying my last day of dossing/freedom than by sleeping in til lunchtime and then getting to eat a massive slice of delicious home-made cake?  I can’t think of one…on a seperate note, how on earth is it November already?

Day 42 – Movin’ On Out: Today I left home to move in temporarily with Ellie’s family before Ellie and I move into our flat together in a couple of weeks.  I’ve had to move now because I start my new job on Monday and it’s much easier to get there from Ellie’s than from mine.  So, I shoved a load of things into a variety of bags and left!  The countdown to me and Ellie living together properly is on 😀

Day 41 – Busy Doing Nothing: I’ve spent most of today just enjoying being able to do nothing ahead of starting work on Monday.  I did have a jam on my acoustic guitar, and naturally I always have brilliance set on high – don’t want to sound mediocre now do I??
