Day 198 – Happy Easter: Today is a day for eating all sorts of things that are bad for you, including little cakes with rabbits on, as made by Ellie’s sister.

Day 59 – Happy Birthday Mum!: Another day, another family birthday. Today is my mum’s, but obviusly I can’t reveal any numbers! We popped over this evening to see her and deliver her present and card. This cake was baked and decorated by my Dad, and a good job he did too. Happy birthday Mum!

Day 58 – A Sheffield Celebration: We drove up to Sheffield today to join the rest of Ellie’s family for a meal celebrating her uncle’s 60th birthday. Undoubtedly a time for champagne, although it didn’t exactly go well with the wonderful cupcakes that we had instead of a traditional birthday cake. Cheers!

Day 44 – Last Day of Freedom: Tomorrow I start work, so what better way of enjoying my last day of dossing/freedom than by sleeping in til lunchtime and then getting to eat a massive slice of delicious home-made cake? I can’t think of one…on a seperate note, how on earth is it November already?

Day 8 – The Baggies’ Bubble Bursts: Saturday is match day and once again I was watching football from the press box and reporting on a match for The League Paper. This week, I got sent to The Hawthorns to watch West Bromwich Albion v Crystal Palace, which surprisingly the visitors won 1-0, a result that ended Albion‘s unbeaten start to the season and saw them lose top spot in the league table. The media centre at The Hawthorns was awesome – top class facilities and free cakes and pies too! You could really tell that the Baggies have been in the Premier League recently, and I won’t be surprised if they’re there again next season.
