Day 346 – Reading rocks: Today we did Reading festival. Limp BIzkit were fantastic, Paramore excellent, Weezer impressive and Blink 182 pretty good too, and no-one was late on (are you watching Axl Rose?). But the best thing, two Cambridge graduates flashing the metal horns!

Day 345 – Leicester Style: I was on football reporting duty again tonight, this time making my first visit to the Walkers Stadium for Leicester City v Reading. It was the evening game, so my deadline was tighter than usual, so a goal four minutes from time then a disallowed equaliser in injury time was not appreciated!

Day 344 – Para-more festivals: This Sunday we’re off to Reading festival, so today has been spent getting stuff ready. The lineup features Paramore, who I photographed back in December.

Day 30 – What a Mess: All that finger crossing must have worked, as Ellie and I have found somewhere to live together, and will hopefully move in very soon. With that in mind, today we took on the task of sorting my room out, starting with my desk, which is what today’s picture shows. Yes it’s a mess, but it does highlight a lot about me; there’s a camera lens in the foreground, as well as a capo for my guitar (I’ve played guitar since I was 8), the KoRn Issues doll represents my love of heavy music, the books show I like reading, the letter is for my subscription to Practical Photography mag, there’s a box containing a Scooby Doo mug in the background and we all know how awesome he is, and that black folder has all my professional things in and is what I have been trawling round to all my interviews recently. However, this has now all been tidied/binned and I have remembered that I actually still have a desk that I can use – amazing!
