Day 293 – A Cosy Cardigan: Today we hit Cardigan and it rained…A LOT. Cardigan was nice, lots of bookshops and very friendly. It also had a toy shop selling an Aston Villa pogo stick, which I kind of regret not buying now – imagine a jump shot on THAT!

Day 224 – Subbuteo: Tonight I was at Villa Park to watch the first leg of the FA Youth Cup featuring Villa and Chelsea. The game finished 1-1, which was probably fair and I got to do some tilting and shifting too! Big up to Villa for making it free entry as well – Chelsea are charging £3 for the second leg.

Day 220: Rainbow over Toytown: After getting back from watching the mighty Villa beat Small Heath at Villa Park, I’ve had a day at home chilling out. Purely by having the good fortune to look out of the window at the right time, I spotted this rainbow, so decided to give it the tilt n shift treatment. Boom!

Day 208 – Another Draw: Tonight I was back at my temple – Villa Park – to witness yet another draw, this time with the blue scousers from Everton. However, I did get to help the giant Villa flag along the way before kick off, which is always fun.

Day 204 – Hair Raising: That’s one way of describing Howard Webb’s decision not to award the Villa a blatent penalty in today’s FA Cup semi final. Yes, Chelseas outclassed us eventually, but that was a big moment that he got wrong. Thankfully, Mum and Dad came to visit this evening, which cheered me up. And as the wine flowed, out came the fake beard and suddenly Dad had more hair on his hair than he’s had for a few years. Brilliant.

Day 187 – Have You Won the European Cup?: I was back at the Villa tonight for another frustrating draw, this time against Sunderland. However, I realised that I’d somehow never spotted this cool murial inside the Holte End, depicting our greatest moment.

Day 183 – A Great Man: I was at the Villa today to see their disappointing draw with Wolves, but one highlight before the match was finally getting a look at the club’s statue of William McGregor, a Villa legend responsible for inventing the idea of a football league. A top statue to recognise someone who had a top idea!

Day 163 – Cup of Despair: Well, it wasn’t meant to be. Villa headed to Wembley for the Carling Cup final today and, despite playing well, they ultimately lost 2-1 to Manchester United. As such, this is still the only cup I can currently see with Villa’s name on it 😦

Day 124 – Wembley Calling: Tonight football has made me very happy…the maddest game I’ve ever seen but worth it in the end. Villa beat Blackburn 6-4 on the night to make it to the Carling Cup final. The stadium was rammed, we all had free flags and it was, quite simply, an unforgettable night.

Day 121 – Football Makes Me sad: Today the Villa could only manage a 0-0 draw at home to West Ham. Today, football has made me sad.
