Day 279 – Megadave: This is very much inspired by last night’s film. I’ve already photographed two of the four – Slayer and Megadeth (pictured here) and will be shooting Anthrax and Slayer again at Sonisphere…just need that Metallica pass now!

Day 278 – The Big Four: Tonight me and my Dad went to Star City to see the film of the Big Four – that’s METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX, together! The film was a concert beamed from Sofia, which ended with all four bands jamming ‘Am I Evil?’ together – awesome!

Day 6 – Megadad: Those of you who know me will know that I like heavy metal music.  It’s something I’ve inherited from my parents and I lucky that I’ve been able to grow up listening to great music and got to go to plenty of gigs with Mum and Dad too.  Today’s photo is kind of a symbol of that, but it also acts as a photographic review of the latest album to join my CD collection – Megadeth’s brilliant ‘Endgame‘, which finally arrived in the delayed post this morning.  I was pretty confident it was going to be good, particularly as it provoked such a passionate blog from Metal Hammer’s Dom Lawson, and my word I was not disappointed.  Oh yeah, Dad likes it too!

Day 2 – Get Your Motor Running: Today I spent a lot of my time travelling in a car and today’s picture was shot this evening as Ellie and I went to Birmingham Airport to fetch her parents.  I felt slightly odd sitting in the back seat with my camera on a tripod, but I loved the unpredictability of getting this type of image and was pleased with the results.  Other than riding around today was a pretty quiet day, but I did manage to pick up a copy of Megadeth’s ‘Peace Sells, But Who’s Buying?‘ for only £2.50, which made me happy, as did seeing Manchester City lose.
