Day 301 – Delicious: Tonight we had a treat to celebrate meeting up with our friend Kate and went for tea at the excellent Warehouse Cafe in Digbeth – a vegetarian eatery. You should go, it’s awesome!

Day 212 – I’m With the Band: Yesterday I got a phonecall from Martin, a longtime family friend, asking if I was around to do photo shoot with his band ahead of the release of their new album. This shoot has been one we agreed I’d do back in 2006, but it’s taken some time to get to the stage where it was needed! Anyway, we had a stroll round Digbeth today doing the session, and this one – complete with strobist style wireless flashes – is my early favourite!

Day 210 – Happy Birthday Ellie!: Today is Ellie’s 23rd birthday, so happy birthday to her! We had a great day wandering around Birmingham, which included stopping at the excellent Warehouse Cafe in Digbeth – which is also where I took this portrait.
