Day 227 – Take Me to the Bridge: I did take some more tourist-y shots in London, my favourite being this HDR shot of Tower Bridge – what do you think?

Day 171 – Dark Clouds Ahead: Today we took a ride to El Cotillo on the other side of the island. It looked very end of the world-esque, particularly with these brooding clouds.

Day 140 – Steel City: Tonight Ellie and I headed up to Sheffield for the weekend to visit her sister. I studied for my degree in Sheffield and it was during my final year there that I really got to grips with my SLR and started to get some good photos. This one, taken during my final year, is still one of my all-time favourites.

Day 77 – Getting Festive in Solihull: After work tonight I ventured into Solihull armed with camera and tripod to photograph the lights and the German Market.  This pic is my favourite so far, taken from behind Touhwood Shopping Centre and given the HDR touch.

Day 72 – Notorhead: Tonight I was meant to be photographing Motorhead in Wolverhampton, I’d even been approved for my pass.  But then I found out that, because it’s a Sunday and that’s a valid reason for trains being crap, i would have had to left Wolverhampton an hour before I was aiming to get there to catch the last train home – brilliant.  So instead, we went to watch Nativity, the film with Alan Carr and Martin Freeman set in Coventry with scenes in the cathedral ruins.  I visited those ruins last year and quite like this HDR shot.
