Day 365 – Done!: It’s over! I’ve finally got through one year documenting every day with a photo. It’s been fun and I’ve ended up recording an important year of my life; first proper job, moved out of home, set a date to get married, shot my first festival and my first winter wedding. On top of that I’ve shot some GREAT bands – juts off the top of my head my faves were Biffy Clyro, Paramore, Lamb of God, Job For a Cowboy, ZZ Top, Papa Roach, Steel Panther…it goes on! Thanks for following me, and why not give it a go yourself?

Day 274 – On the Telly!: More exciting Gardeners’ World Live news, we got on the telly today, on Gardeners’ World itself. This water feature is made from an old grit bin and an old can recycling bin.

Day 271 – The Other Dave: Today was quite a big one at work for me, as I finally got to see the Gardeners’ World Live show garden that I’ve been doing the press for. It’s called Alice in Biodiversity Land and has some awesome features in it, including Dave the Dodo, who is made from recycled drinks cans.

Day 251 – Mister Mayor: As well as having a new leader, Solihull also has a new mayor as of last night – Cllr Ian Courts. Welcome!

Day 250 – Working Together: Following tonight’s annual Council meeting, Solihull is now run by a Lib-Dem/Labour coalition, meaning I’ve got lots of new Cabinet members to start working with, the most important being our new leader, Cllr Ian Hedley, whose portrait I took last week.

Day 239 – Dog Days: Today has been a good day – I found out that I’ve passed my 6-month probation at work and have been asked to stay on beyond my current contract, then I also got to photograph Hiccup the dog again along with two blokes dressed as dogs…brilliant!

Day 216 – Hiccup!: Somedays, work is brilliant no matter what you do for a job. Today was one of those days for me – I got to meet and photograph Hiccup for an upcoming anti dog poo campaign. He was a great little dog and this outtake has made me smile every time it’s popped up on my screen. If you live in Solihull borough, keep an eye out for him in the next few weeks or so!
