Day 360 – Fuzzed Box: This weekend was ArtsFest weekend in Brum and we headed into town with my parentals to see some of the action. Dad wanted to see Fuzzbox – Birmingham’s most successful instrument-playing girl group no less. They sucked, singer out of tune and guitarist out of time, couldn’t form chords properly and played a shit pink guitar to boot. However, it was free so not to worry! We also checked out the Steve McCurry retrospective photography exhibition in the Waterhall – amazing!
Day 344 – Para-more festivals: This Sunday we’re off to Reading festival, so today has been spent getting stuff ready. The lineup features Paramore, who I photographed back in December.
Day 321 – Scream For Me Knebworth!: Another one from the Sonisphere selection, this time from one of the smaller stages and a rockin’ band called Audrey Horne.
Day 320 – Photo Challenge: It’s Tuesday, which means Photo Challenge day. This week’s theme was music, suggested by me, and this was my entry – Pete Shoulder of The Union, taken at the weekend at Sonisphere.
Day 319 – The Work Begins: So, I’m back from Sonisphere but I have loads of pics to go through so I’m going to be busy. really like this shot of the guitarist from Rise to Remain.
Day 318 – Sonisphere Sunday: Final day of Sonisphere and it’s been another good one. My fave pic so far is this one, of Voodoo Six.
Day 317 – Dr Feelgood: Day 2 of Sonisphere and it’s going well, particularly as I managed to blag a pass for Motley Crue’s set…only got one song, but it’s one more song than I was expecting!
Day 267 – For Those About to Rock: I’m at Download, which tonight was headlined by the mighty AC/DC, who brought their own STAGE to play on. The was taken from the crowd the moment they came on, hence the flying beer cup. Rock.
Day 266 – Pea-Z: Here’s another pic of Jay-Z for you from last night, as I’ve not really done anything else today!
Day 265 – Ea-Z: Tonight I photographed Jay-Z at the LG Arena. He was pretty good considering I don’t like rap and Beyonce walked us past us after our three songs – unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of her!
